Recent Study Shows the Economic Contributions of Indiana's Energy Industry

A recent study comissioned by the Indiana Energy Association illustrates the economic contributions Indiana's energy industry provides to the state.

The study shows:

  • Investor-owned energy providers account for nearly 28,000 jobs in Indiana
  • The industry invests $2.5 billion in Indiana annually
  • 7% of recent hires have been veterans of U.S. military compared to 4.6% in other industries
